I think science of crucial for everyday life. I can live (though unhappily) without music, art, poetry, or even food for a day, but I can’t imagine living without science! Look around you, everything you see has been designed, tested and produced using scientific knowledge.

Imagine the world without the Internet and computers!how different would your life be?

I’m naturally curious about the natural world and science is the way to find out more about it. I get to see things that nobody has ever seen before, work with like-minded people and use some very cool pieces of equipment. I’m not saving lives or figuring out the mysteries of the universe but I’m doing my bit to understand more about the world we live in, how it operates and the creatures that inhabit it. Bottom line I just love what I do because its exciting and really interesting.
