They know what’s good for them! Rabbits need their greens and carrot tops fit the bill. The orange part of carrots are quite high in sugar and this appeals to their sweet tooth. (If you have a rabbit don’t feed them too many carrots because a lot of sugar is bad for them).

      That I really don’t know!

I’m not sure carrots are their favourite food ever, but they do like to gnaw on crunchy vegetables since their teeth never stop growing and need to be worn down.

I dont know much about rabbits, but i recently look after my friends guinea pig and we had to feed it lots of fresh fruit and vegetables because guinea pigs cant make their own vitamin C, so have to eat alot in their diet. Maybe its similar with rabbits?

I had a pet rabbit and it ate all kinds of things, like seeds, nuts, cereal, other vegetables and chocolate! I think the carrot thing is just a stereotype.
