Science and maths were definitely my favourite subjects. I was lucky to have really good teachers for them as well. My least favourite were art and music, I just wasn’t any good at them at all, I still can’t draw very well.
I really liked science until I was 16 but I really liked art, English and geography too. When I was doing my A-levels we had a really bad biology teacher (he was fired) and then no proper teacher so that was quite frustrating. At that point I enjoyed history the most because we had a brilliant teacher who taught me how to think independently and analytically and how to write a good argument. These skills have been really useful and I’m glad I didn’t just study sciences for A-level.
