I study animals that live in the deep sea in environments called hydrothermal vents. These are like thermal springs on the seabed. I’ve just finished studying some shrimp and now I’m working on deep-sea snails. What I’ll be working on next very much depends on what we find when we go to sea in a few weeks. One of the joys of sceince is getting to work on different things and not always knowing what to expect.
