Question: What comparisons are there between marine life and temperature of the water?

There are many factors and processes that interact to determine patterns of marine life. Some marine life can tolerate a broad range of temperatures, whereas others have more specific requirements. At high temperature vents some species can tolerate the warmer areas whereas others live at cooler, ambient deep-sea temperatures. It depends on the needs and physiology of the animal.
