I just work in an office now, but I used to work in a lab and it wasn’t that big. It was full of glass tubes and air pipes, and various posionous things that get locked in a cabinet.
We have lots of different sized labs. Some are small, some are big. it depends what sort of experiments they are for. When i go to France some of the labs take up whole buildings!
Mines quite cosy and small, I get my own bench but I share the lab with 2 other doctors. Its probably about twice the size of my living room, if that helps!
There are many different labs here at the oceanography centre and they vary in size and what they’re used for. The teaching labs are quite big similar to the labs we used at school. The lab that I use most often is much smaller; it would be quite cosy with more than 3 or 4 people working in there at once.
