Hmmm, this is a very good question, I’m going to have a good think about it…

I would like to stop the spread of obesity across the world. It used to be that only the people from more developed nations who were affected, with obesity linked to many diseases like heart and circulatory diseases, diabetes and cancers. However, since the other contries are becoming richer and swapping traditional diets mainly based on grains and cereals to ones that are based on meat, sugar and fat. At the same time, the amount of daily physical exercise has dropped dramatically so as a result, a huge percentage of people all over the world are becoming more overweight and suffer all the health consequences.

The fact is, we already know some things about how people can stay a healthy weight. The difficult thing is to get the message out there, convincing people that looking after your body, eating the right things and do exercises are going to pay off well in the long term, but how do we get people to put down that 3rd yummy chocolate doughnut and go for a walk?

Does a cure for old age count? But that’s not a disease. I guess probably HIV.

That’s a tough question. I’ll go for cancer because I’ve lost two of the people I love most to the disease and know numerous others who’ve suffered from it or who have lost people they love because of it.

I’d want to cure cancer as well, as many people in my family have suffered from it, and it affects so many people around the world
