• Question: Do you think there is life on another planet?

      Absolutely. Not neccessarily in our solar system but somewhere out there. Life arose from a certain set of conditions on Earth. Similar conditions may have occurred somewhere else, either in the past, present or future, and perhaps life could arise from another set of conditions too. It may not be life in the forms that we know of; why should all life be like man or lifeforms from Earth? Are there other intelligent lifeforms out there? I don’t know. Our planet is just a teeny tiny part of a much greater cosmos. Perhaps it’s just comforting to believe there is life out there but the logical, rational part of my brain reasons that there is life.

      Almost certainly. I agree with Verity, there are so many planets out in the universe that it must be very unlikely one of them doesn’t have life on. I don’t think we will meet it anytime soon though.

      I don’t think we can simiply rule out the possibility, no matter how unlikely it is.

      Its a numbers game and there are some many planets out there, one will have the right conditions for life
