      Definitely. All the science that I do depends upon technology, whether its computer power or the equipment itself. Scanning peoples brains is easy now, with MRI scanners becoming cheaper and better at what they do. A lot of my experiments depends on equipment such as PCR machines (you can look at gene levels with it) and I can track mice in their cages using a camera and computer software. Any advances in technology will definitely end up helping us in science.
