I think medicine is the most important topic, because its important to everyone. I guess it is quite scientific, but it is usually counted as a separate subject. So yes, other topics are important too. 🙂

I think that science is hugely important to everybody (even if people don’t realise it) because it shapes how we perceive ourselves, our world and space. We rely on science to live the way that we do (e.g. through medicine, food technology, transport, communication, etc etc). I wouldn’t say that science is most important though. For example, how would we communicate science without language? We need all kinds of people with different skills, interests and passions in society so I don’t feel that any subject is ‘more importan’ than any other. I hope that answers your question!

Of course! even though science is very important, so are the arts, psychology, the lanugages, everything!

There would be no point if we are all zipping around in our personal transporters and living forever when we are all miserable and unable to communicate with each other?!

Science is massively important as in underpins nearly everything else in some way. But life would be very boring if we didn’t have art or music or sport so I think they are important as well. And there is loads of science in those subjects too – think about how different new sports equipment is compared to 100 years ago – lots of science has been needed to make things like better golf clubs and football boots.
