I speak a little bit of German and French which I learnt at school, this comes in very useful when I go to conferences in Europe. If I had the time I’d love to learn a new language properly, maybe Mandarin or Arabic

I can speak French but I’m a bit rusty! I know bits and pieces of Spanish and Portugese but not enough to hold a decent conversation. Languages are definately useful though. I would like to improve my French so that I can communicate with French collegues better.

Not as well as I do English, but I can speak German and French. I learnt German at school, but recently I’ve been taking French courses – by employers pay for them, they really encourage us to learn new languages.
