No way! No one does. I wish I knew more biology. I always found it really interesting at school but couldn’t do it for A Level. Even in my small speciality area I am still learning new things everyday. That’s one of the things I love about my job.

Definately not! Science is huge, it covers so many subjects and disciplines. The best any of us can realistically hope for is to have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the field we work in and an appreciation of what else is going. Science is dynamic so it can be a challenge just to keep on top of the new developments in your own field. It takes a lot of time and experience to really master something and gain ‘expert’ knowledge of it, so to do this for everything would be impossible! As a scientist you have to accept that there are questions you may never be able to answer.

Not yet, but i’m trying 😛 I’m actually REALLY bad at physics. Science is such a big topic I dont think anyone could know everything. But everyday I learn something new, and I’m always looking for new answers.

No and if someone tell you that they do, then they’re lying to you!

My boss however knows a lot about many things, it amazes me how he can fit so much into his head!
