      I think many scientists are concerned over how the messages from scientific research come across to the general public, as they could be totally the opposite of we’re trying to say.

      Since we can’t check every single article published everywhere, the only thing we can do is that to learn how to comminicate to journalists and the media, so that when they go away to write, they have understood the most important points. If you see an article that you think are definitely wrong in a newspaper or magazine, or even on the news, why not contact and challenge them to explain how they have come to their conclusions?

      Another thing is, if you can’t beat them then join them, scientists can become journalists and editors themselves!
