      Diagnosing ADHD requires a professional, such as the local doctor, the parents of the kids themselves and probably a teacher as well, because to have ADHD you need to be showing symptoms in more than one environment (such as home and school). There is a checklist-type way of diagnosing ADHD and someone would need a certain amount of ‘ticks’ before they could be diagnosed with it.
